Dr. Tina Hsu is a board-certified dermatologist with expertise in a broad range of medical and surgical dermatology treatments. She is passionate about the prevention, early detection, and treatment of skin cancer. Her formal education and training include:
- University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, PA) – BA, Biological Basis of Behavior with a Minor in Chemistry
- Washington University School of Medicine (St. Louis, MO) – Doctor of Medicine
- SSM St. Mary’s Hospital (St. Louis, MO) – Internal Medicine Residency
- Cook County Health and Hospital System (Chicago, IL) – Dermatology Residency
Dr. Tina Hsu has received many academic awards and honors, including her medical school scholarship, and has been involved with a multitude of publications and professional presentations.
During her professional training and education, Dr. Hsu contributed to a handful of in-depth research projects with the Washington University Department of Pediatrics in St. Louis, MO; the Perelman School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry in Philadelphia, PA; and the DAAD Research Internship in Engineering and Science in Aachen, Germany. Dr. Hsu has also dedicated her time and efforts to volunteering with the Navajo Nation, the Global Development Collaborative in Peru, Global Medical Brigades in Nicaragua, and acted as a Medical Assistant with Love Volunteers in Senegal.
In her spare time, Dr. Hsu enjoys exploring with her husband, son, and dog, solving crosswords and other puzzles, baking, and reading. She speaks basic Mandarin Chinese.
